Where do prices come from?+
Retailer prices come from a free, crowd-sourced product database, plus official retailer APIs where configured (no data source is ever presented as more certain than it is — see the Verified/Estimated/Unavailable label on every price). Coupon codes come from user submissions and our own verification checks — there's no synthetic or auto-generated coupon data anywhere in this app.
How do you verify coupons?+
Right now, coupon codes are demo data — no free, reliable coupon-data API exists, so codes shown are generated for demonstration and are clearly labeled "Demo, not real" wherever they appear. They will not work at checkout, and if a demo code is part of a scan's best price, the results page tells you so before you click through.
Which retailers are supported?+
Coverage depends on which retailer integrations are connected. The provider architecture is built so new retailers can be added without changing the rest of the app.
Do you use my purchase history?+
No. Pricivo only looks at the product you ask about. We don't access your retailer accounts or order history.
