What we actually use
Pricivo uses one category of cookie: a session cookie set by our authentication provider (Supabase Auth) so you stay signed in between visits. It's strictly necessary for the product to work — there is no way to opt out of it short of not signing in.
What we don't use
No advertising or marketing cookies, no third-party analytics trackers (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, etc.), no session-replay or heatmap tools, and no cross-site tracking. Coarse product-usage events (e.g. "scan completed") are logged directly to our own database when they happen — they are not cookies and don't track you across other sites.
If this changes
If we ever add a non-essential cookie (analytics, marketing, or otherwise), we'll ask for consent before it's set and give you a way to change your mind later — not fire it first and ask after. This page will be updated to reflect exactly what's actually running, the same way it does today.
